Majesty

This girl graces the corner of my living room so beatifully, I couldn't imagine she would look so good anywhere else.  I was wrong-- she looks great everywhere she goes.   I decided it would be cool to have the shade present a different picture on each of the 4 sides when lit.  Between the lining and top fabric layer, I installed appliques, such that  each side is unique- check it out.   Another surprise, if you run your hand througn the fringe, you'll find numerous bead strands hidden within.  [** from floor lamp base:  On the base, I used a veriety of metallic paint colours  to complement the shade and painted the wooden section (in the middle) in abstract to mimic a massive jewel.]  The finial features a large amethyst crystal, matching the crystal drops on each of bead strands appended to the corners.  Her Majesty is 61" tall and the shade is 14" x 16".  $800
